Elyse's First Field Trip...

Elyse got to go on her very first field trip this week. Her class went to the....

FIRE STATION!

They got to see the firemen and what they look like in all their gear...

Now she is an official fire girl!

And the best part was getting to spray the fire hose...

Elyse and Ryan had so much fun on the field trip! She was able to tell me all about the fire safety tips she learned.

Another first for our little lady. We are so proud of her!

My Current Reading Obsessions...

Oh my goodness... If you have not red the Hunger Games series you are seriously missing out! I just finished reading the third and final book in the series. It's one of those books that is soooo good that when you turn that last page you really feel sad. Like you just lost a good friend. Oh, how I wish the series could go on...

This weekend I started reading the second book in Stieg Larsson's series. I had a really hard time getting into The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, but once I did I could not put it down! I'm really excited to start this new book.... Just need a little more time so I can actually read more than a page or two in a sitting!!

Welcome Baby Finley...

Congratulations to John and Beth on their sweet baby girl, Finley!

She is so adorable and we can't wait to meet her!

She reminds me a little of another sweet, dark haired, chubby baby girl I once knew. :)

New Addition...

Tomorrow is the BIG day that we've been anxiously awaiting... John and Beth will be welcoming the newest Baby Dugger to the family.

We can't wait to see pictures and to find out the gender and name. Here are our predictions:

Payton: a boy named Nikko

Elyse: a girl named Callahan Baby

Ryan: a girl named ????

Christy: a girl named Bryn or Sophie

We've got quite the bet going. We'll see who wins the loot tomorrow. :)

Becky's Baby Shower...

Last weekend I helped host a baby shower for one of my best friends, Becky. The shower was at The Tea Room in Rogers. It was such a nice setting and the food was delicious. We had a great time celebrating baby Kinley!
